COVID-19 Update - 17th January 2021
The health and safety of our customers and employees is - and will always remain - our top priority. During the evolving COVID-19 situation, we are dedicated to keeping you informed on what we are doing to make your travel decisions and experiences as worry-free as possible.
We’re taking guidance from the NHS, WHO, EASA, the UK CAA and other agencies, which recommends regular and rigorous cleaning as one of the most important preventive measures we can take during the spread of Coronavirus(COVID-19). We are closely monitoring developments and staying appraised of all protocols recommended by government agencies and internal teams in order to provide the appropriate travel and safety protection measures for everyone.
In addition to our standard cleaning procedures, we have taken additional proactive measures including a thorough wipe down of all touch-points on the helicopters, with disinfectant throughout the day. As part of standard practice, we will be removing headsets from the main cabin (although these will be available on request and cleaned after use), sanitising door knobs, light/vent knobs in the cabin and any commonly-touched areas in the operation, including areas that only Crews have access to, between each flight.
To provide additional separation between passengers and crew we have installed a clear partition between the cockpit and cabin of our charter Agusta 109s. The AW169s already have existing partitions. While these partitions allow separation between pilots and passengers, we would ask passengers that are not from the same family group to wear face masks for all flights.
With effect from 04:00 on Monday 18 January 2021, all persons (including UK nationals and residents) arriving in the UK from outside the common travel area must provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 test prior to departure, unless they are exempt or have a reasonable excuse. This includes UK nationals and residents. All passengers will need to present the proof of their negative test to board their flight.
Finally, should your business or group require an ad hoc corporate shuttle or charter solution to help mitigate travel risk our 5/6 seat Agusta 109 and 7/8 seat Agusta 169 helicopters are available for charter for a schedule that suits you. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Thank you for your continued support and trust in Halo. We look forward to welcoming you on board soon.
